Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

Participating in the preparation of work plans and formulation or review of Policies.
Providing counselling to clients with various medical issues.
Diagnosing and managing opportunistic infections (OIs).
Ensuring that health care practice and procedures are implemented according to the Health Professional Council of Zambia (HPCZ) requirements.
Ensuring documentation of patient care is complete and accurate in accordance with Ministry of Health unit policies and procedures.
Ensuring prudent and efficient management of the unit’s resources and supplies.
Ensuring that the required unit patient records are well updated and maintained.
Facilitating timely and accurate reporting of activities.
Maintaining good public relations with patients, their relatives and fellow staff.
Implementing and adherence to all ‘Management Systems’ and Company policies and regulations.
Undertaking effective capacity building interventions in order to impart appropriate knowledge and skills.
Adhere to relevant statutory requirements and Code of Professional Ethics and upholding confidentiality of client information.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate.
Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences.
At least 2 years’ experience in the Clinical profession.
Strong Problem-solving Skills and the ability to make decision quickly.
High level of professionalism and ethics.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
